Been meaning to try this sandwich shop after hearing about it through the grapevine for a long time and finally got the chance! It's nestled quaintly in a suburban neighborhood with some other shops/eateries next to it. If it's busy, there's limited parking on the street so just keep in mind you'll have to drive around for street parking. Even on a late weekday lunchtime the shop was busy with the staff pumping out sandwiches left and right; just be prepared to wait a bit as it's busy! I got the Italian-Ish sandwich (they have a both hot and cold sandwiches) which came on perfectly toasted bread and was stacked high with meats and veggies. It had a good mix of italian meats and the brineyness from the veggies came through. For how big the sandwiches are, I thought the price (exactly $15 even) was pretty reasonable. You could certainly make two meals out of each half (and they come conveniently cut in half for you). Just keep in mind since there's so much stuff packed into the sandwiches it can get a little messy! Service was really nice and even though it was busy I thought the food came out fairly quickly. You can tell they're definitely making things and stacking them together fresh. Will have to be back to try some of the other sandwiches!

Everything was delicious, and even on a busy day we had a short wait for our food. We tried the potato salad, market veg, and pastrami. If you order a pickle, make sure it's sealed. They tossed two pickles into my to-go bag, one of which ended up leaking all over the bag and sandwiches! :(

This place has some pretty bold sandwiches! It is a place to go if you're looking for a good quality sandwich. Yelo brought me here, and it doesn't dissappoint... I've tried the Egg Salad Sandwich and the Turkey Sandwich... definitely looking to try the others. Also, their chocolate chip cookie is tasty! Its simple, sweet and savory, and packs good flavor :)

I don't know how I found myself here but I'm glad I did. This place has some of the best sandwich I've had in a super long time. I got the Brisket Prime Rib sandwich and the Tuna sandwich which were both amazing. I seriously can't believe I hadn't been here before and I live in Whittier. Just come try their entire menu and thank me later.

Has been on my radar for quite some time now. Finally made the plunge. And I have to say this is a really great sandwich shop. So much flavor and creativity in each sandwich. What helps is the very positive customer service here even though it's super busy. The place could be larger for the amount volume of customers they get in and out. There is a small parking lot not to far of street parking isn't available. The store front does have the uptown Whittier spirit and vibe. Next time however I'm getting here before they open. Ordering my sandwiches and get a table or running out.

10/10!!!! Stopped by with coworkers for a quick bite. This place did not disappoint. They were fast and friendly. There is indoor dining and outdoor. I ordered the egg salad sandwich this was bomb, bread was soft and toasted to perfection. You can honestly see and taste the quality in their ingredients. My coworkers also loved their sandwiches and enjoyed them. I'll Definitely will be back

The sandwiches are great. No one can argue with that, but the wait time can get quite long, the dining area is super cramped, and the prices are about $5 higher than I would have expected them to be. I think if you order ahead of time and then just show up to grab-and-go, you'll have a much better experience. I can't argue with the flavor combinations, the bread, and the quality. It was fantastic. Ordering it and eating it there is another story.

Best sandwich I've eaten in LA, no contest. Sandwiches are really basic. They're easy to make at home and it doesn't take too many ingredients. This is to say, it's hard to make a spectacular sandwich. This was a spectacular sandwich. First of all, the bread is perfect. A mild sourdough that's a bit crusty and toasted just right. Then there's the combination of flavors. It's like.. a spicy and sweet Italian sandwich with just a bit of acid. It kind of reminded me of a muffuletta without the olive tapenade. They also have a turkey sandwich kids meal. It's basically the same size as an adult sandwich but just with turkey, cheese, and mayo. I felt like that really showed how incredible these sandwiches are. How could something so simple and normal taste that much more delicious? Couldn't recommend this enough. I don't know how this place isn't more popular than it is.
